| A RUDE AWAKENING THE BIRTH OF THE QING MARAUDERS
In 1912, the Qing government had collapsed; Prime Minister Yuan Shikai had revived a monarchy for himself and the puppet emperor Puyi had been abdicated during the coup d'etat. China was in a state of disarray, mutiny and violence. Unwilling to give into the pressures of foreign powers; the systematic manipulation of the publics' opinion or Yuan Shikai's delirium, several Qing loyalists vowed to take a stand against the blood-driven Prime Minister. The men turned to piracy, vandalizing and marauding to erode the public stench of Yuan Shikai. To this day, those loyal servants are known as the Qing Marauders.
